Yes. VideoPro integrates with Scorebird to connect your video production with traditional scoreboards, keeping scores in sync across all displays. For track & field programs, VideoPro also integrates natively with FinishLynx — race results post to the videoboard automatically the moment they are official.

VideoPro includes purpose-built templates for 17 sports: football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, swimming, track & field, tennis, golf, hockey, field hockey, lacrosse, water polo, roller hockey, and pickleball. One license covers all of them — no per-sport fees.

Download the installer for Windows or macOS from the Downloads page and run it. The installer walks you through the setup process, including driver installation for video output hardware. A license key is required to activate the software after installation.

VideoPro's recommended turnkey hardware includes an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor, NVIDIA A1000 GPU, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and 1TB NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. This configuration is optimized for broadcast-quality videoboard production with a Blackmagic DeckLink Duo 2 capture card included in the turnkey package. You can create fully custom templates from scratch using VideoPro's built-in design tool. It includes a timeline editor, animation controls, and asset management so you can build layouts that match your team or venue branding. Built-in templates are also fully editable.

Yes. VideoPro lets you switch templates mid-event without restarting the software. This is useful for multi-sport facilities or events where different sports share the same venue on the same day.

Yes, VideoPro supports NDI output, allowing you to send your videoboard production over a local network to compatible displays, switchers, and production equipment without dedicated video cabling.

VideoPro's output can be captured by any streaming encoder or broadcast software (such as OBS or vMix) that accepts NDI or a standard video input. From there you can stream to YouTube, Facebook, or any RTMP-compatible platform.

VideoPro continuously buffers your camera input in the background. When you trigger a replay, the software instantly plays back the buffered footage on your videoboard. You can adjust playback speed and select the clip you want to show without interrupting live content.

ScoreBuddy Pro connects to VideoPro over your local Wi-Fi network. Once both are running on the same network, ScoreBuddy Pro discovers VideoPro automatically. You can then control scores, graphics, and replays directly from your phone or tablet.

Yes. ScoreBuddy Pro is included with every VideoPro license — both Essentials and Ultimate. There is no additional charge for the app or for additional devices running ScoreBuddy Pro on the same network.

VideoPro integrates natively with Nevco scoreboards and connects to traditional scoreboards through the Scorebird integration, which keeps scores synchronized across your videoboard and physical scoreboard displays.

Yes. VideoPro has a native integration with FinishLynx, the industry-standard photo-finish timing system. When a race result is marked official in FinishLynx, it appears on the videoboard automatically — including place, time, athlete name, and affiliation. No manual entry, no second operator required. Both products are made by Nevco, so the integration is built in and fully supported.

Major version upgrades may require a separate upgrade purchase; however, maintenance releases and bug fixes within your purchased version are provided at no additional cost. Your sales representative can clarify the upgrade policy for your specific license.

Yes. VideoPro supports multi-display output, so you can drive your main videoboard, a secondary concourse display, and a production preview monitor from a single workstation. Output configuration depends on your GPU and available video ports.

VideoPro supports common video formats including MP4 (H.264/H.265), MOV, and AVI, as well as still image formats such as PNG, JPEG, and BMP for graphics and overlays. For best playback performance, encoded MP4 files are recommended.
